Synopsis

크로아티아의 작은 마을, 홍수가 몰려오던 날. 마르코 앞에 아버지의 장례를 위해 돌아온 옛 친구 슬라벤이 나타난다. 잊었다고 믿었던 첫사랑의 불씨가 다시 타오르며, 마르코는 가족의 기대와 공동체의 시선 사이에서 숨겨왔던 진짜 자신과 마주하게 된다. 모래주머니로 물길을 막듯 애써 쌓아온 감정의 장벽은 서서히 무너지고, 두 청년은 억압과 편견 속에서도 서로의 존재에서 위안을 찾으려 하는데…

In a Croatian village threatened by floods, Marko is confronted by the return of Slaven, an old friend attending his father’s funeral. The spark of a long-buried first love reignites, forcing him to face his true self between family expectations and community judgment. As rising waters strain sandbags, the barriers he built collapse, and the two young men seek solace in each other amid prejudice.
